Taking intensive piano lessons at The London Piano Institute is a fantastic way to improve drastically in a short period of time.
By attending piano lessons each day, you will benefit from lessons structured in a different manner, as your instructor will be able to accompany you in your daily practise.
A traditional piano course includes weekly lessons in between which you would practise on your own, and present your homework to your instructor. Intensive piano lessons offer you the immense privilege to do most of your usual personal practice with your instructor, and therefore avoid you waste time or take the wrong direction during these sessions.
During a typical intensive piano course at The London Piano Institute, your instructor will sit next to you, and help you practise your technical exercises, sight-reading and piano pieces in the right manner.
While practising on your own, you could be tempted to focus on sections of a piece that you know better than others, as it is more enjoyable, or you could skip some technical difficulties thinking that you will resolve them later.
It is not only a remarkable solution to make outstanding progress in a terribly short period of time, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to learn how to practise correctly.
During your intensive piano lessons, your instructor will assist you as a fitness coach would do, by pushing you to use your time efficiently and by working on the sections that need improvement.
Thanks to the larger amount of time available, and lessons attended daily, your instructor and yourself will then have more opportunities to deconstruct the pieces, and to help you resolve fully the issues that you could have in the piece that you are working on.
If you are an absolute beginner, attending lessons daily will allow you to learn how to read the notes, and understand the basic rhythms in a few days only. This will be extremely rewarding, and encouraging to have gone through the basics so quickly!
You will surely be amazed by your achievements, and it should definitely encourage you to use the same methods while practising on your own.
We all have very busy lives, and knowing how to manage your time well is an extremely valuable skill.
At The London Piano Institute, we do not only invite all adults who visit London for a few days, and would like to use this moment to develop their piano skills, but we also offer intensive piano lessons to our regular pupils.
We do provide each of our pupils with these extra classes from time to time, when they need to work
profoundly on a certain aspect of their piano playing, and the results are phenomenal!
